Obtaining Czech Citizenship Through Language Test Exemption for an Israeli Citizen
We helped our Israeli client, who has a Czech family and has lived in the Czech Republic for years, achieve his dream of becoming a Czech citizen.
LIVING IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC WITH A CZECH FAMILY BUT WITHOUT CITIZENSHIP
We are very happy to have been able to help one of our clients achieve a significant life goal. This citizenship story is about an Israeli citizen who has been living in the Czech Republic for a long time, had a Czech family and gradually he became Czech. Apart from one thing – he did not have Czech citizenship, because he knew he would need to pass a Czech language test and due to his dyslexia, it was significantly more difficult for him to learn the Czech language.
CHALLENGES IN OBTAINING CITIZENSHIP: DYSLEXIA AND LANGUAGE LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL TESTS
We took over the client's case, helped him prepare all the paperwork for his application and discussed his case several times with the relevant authorities. But most importantly, we have successfully applied for an exemption from a language as well as a cultural test. This situation was unique and even the authorities did not have much experience with such an exemption, but we have convinced them that it was fair to excuse the client from taking the tests.
SUCCESSFUL EXEMPTION AND GRANTING OF CZECH CITIZENSHIP
In the end, the Ministry of Interior decided it was justified for our client to be exempted from the requirements of the language and cultural tests. Just a few days ago, we got a picture of a brand-new Czech passport from our client.
This successful outcome is proof that even in difficult situations it is possible to achieve a positive result. We are grateful for the trust our client placed in us and we are proud to have been part of this successful Czech citizenship story.
