It all began before World War II, when two young Czechoslovak citizens, the clients' great-grandmother and her future husband, fled their homeland and found refuge in the United Kingdom. They built a life in England, where they married and had a daughter. Although she was born on British soil, she inherited Czechoslovak citizenship through both of her parents.
That daughter later gave birth to our client – and for most of his life, he had no idea that he too was entitled to Czech citizenship. When he reached out to us, we helped him and his mother reclaim their Czech citizenship.
