A sense of belonging that never faded
Our client was born in Canada in the 1960s, but his family story began in pre-war Czechoslovakia. Both of his parents were born here, and Czech culture, language, and memories were a natural part of his upbringing.
Over the years, he spent long periods of time in Prague. Even while living for decades in Central America, he knew that one day, he would return — not just to visit, but to stay. With the freedom to work remotely, the moment finally felt right.
A strong foundation for citizenship
Because both of his parents were born in Czechoslovakia, his claim to Czech citizenship was well-grounded. We worked together to carefully document his family lineage, from birth certificates to historical addresses and archival records, creating a clear and complete application.
A new chapter begins
After approximately five months of processing, his certificate of Czech citizenship was issued. His message to us said everything:
“Wow!! I almost can’t believe it. I can’t thank you enough. I will be forever grateful to all of you.”
Helping someone reconnect with their heritage is something we never take for granted.
Continuing the family story
Encouraged by her son’s experience, his mother has now chosen to apply as well. For her, this step is personal: a way to reconnect with the country where her own story began. We’re honored to now be preparing her application, too.
If you’re exploring your Czech roots, whether for family, identity, or a new chapter in life, we’d be happy to guide you through the process.
